This course recorded in several videos, based on the book Pedagogy of the Orixás aims to contribute with elements to establish new cultural relationships, recognizing the mythic basis of our African matrix, as well as our black heroes, in the construction of the basic archetypes in our education.
The author combines theoretical reflections and concepts on the oppression of the education system in the service of dominant classes in cultural formation and presents alternative educational strategies. It also offers texts, derived from African and Afro-descendant myths and narratives, adapted for classroom use, and accounts of real experiences for anti-racist practices.
