Description

Our route passes through places of memory and spaces of the birth and backstage of samba schools. Get ready to step into territories of black history, to visit a samba warehouse, to meet a samba temple, to enter a museum circuit and experience places where samba lives, sustains itself, and brings together samba musicians, experts, and fans of Brazil's most admired rhythm.

This itinerary operates sustainably, partnering with local actors, culture producers, artists, and artisans in general, seeking to contribute to the city's creative economy. In this way, we provide more authentic and conscious experiences, contributing to the preservation and valorization of culture, promoting the sustainability of future generations.
 
The Experience:
In this experience, we will visit places of samba that bring together history, culture, creativity, musicality, corporality, tradition, and African civilizational values ​​that are lived and cherished in Rio de Janeiro society.

Who does it

Etnias

We are a local operator based in Rio de Janeiro, specialized in afro-tourism and cultural tourism with managers active in the sector for over 20 years. Our experiences connect visitors to African ancestry, diversity, and Brazilian historical heritage through Afrocentric, decolonial, and anti-racist narratives. With a predominantly black team composed of educators, historians, and guides licensed by the Ministry of Tourism, we develop itineraries that combine research, specialized curation, sensitivity, and belonging. We operate in memory territories such as Little Africa, Samba Route, Madureira, Historic Center, Quilombos, and reinterpreted traditional routes, offering authentic and transformative experiences. Recognized for our work on national and international projects, we were curators and official operators of the Black Travel Summit (2025) and the Diaspora Festival (2024), strengthening the exchange between Brazil and the global African diaspora. Currently, we are curators and responsible for the Samba Route Vila Isabel developed by Embratur. Our purpose is to promote conscious, sustainable, immersive tourism committed to the valorization of Afro-Brazilian identities and heritage.
