About the script: The Porto region, at Praça Mauá, which underwent recent reurbanization for the 2016 Olympics and now houses the Museum of Tomorrow and the MAR - Rio Art Museum. Our walk begins in front of the MAR Museum where we discuss the gentrification processes of the region, reading the landscape as a historical and social construction. We head to Largo São Francisco da Prainha discussing the complex system of the enslaved market in the region, the cycles of sugar cane, coffee, and gold, and we will bring the story of the classical dancer, Mercedes Baptista.
Minimum value of R$40.00/person with a minimum sale of 3 passes for a total of R$120, or minimum payment to carry out the script with just one person.
